COSTA BLANCA

Costa Blanca Destination - Coastline & Cliffs

WHY THE COSTA BLANCA

A Mediterranean Setting with a Strong Sense of Place

The Costa Blanca has been part of my life since childhood. My family has a home near Moraira, so I know the region well beyond the perspective of a visitor.

What makes this part of Spain so interesting for weddings is its variety. There are quiet coves, private villas, contemporary coastal venues, traditional fincas, inland valleys and small towns that still feel closely connected to local life.

For couples bringing guests from different places, the region also lends itself naturally to celebrations that extend beyond a single day, with time to arrive, gather, celebrate and enjoy the surroundings together.

THE LANDSCAPE

Different Settings, Different Ways to Celebrate

The Costa Blanca offers more than a single coastal aesthetic. Each area has its own rhythm, architecture and atmosphere, which makes the choice of location an important part of the overall wedding experience.

Moraira and the Benissa Coast

Quiet coves, sea views, private villas and a more intimate coastal atmosphere define this part of the region. It works especially well for couples who value privacy, proximity to the sea and a relaxed setting that still feels considered.

Jávea/Xàbia and Dénia

Rocky coastline, natural landscapes, harbours and a strong connection to local food culture give this area a different energy. It is a good fit for couples who want their celebration to feel connected to both the sea and the local character of the region.

Altea and Calpe

Whitewashed streets, sea-facing terraces, dramatic cliffs and more architectural coastal settings make this part of the Costa Blanca visually distinctive. These locations can feel bright, expressive and very Mediterranean.

The Inland Valleys

Away from the coast, the landscape changes completely. Fincas, olive and almond groves, vineyards, stone villages and open countryside create a quieter setting for couples drawn to privacy, nature and a slower pace.

PLANNING A WEDDING ON THE COSTA BLANCA

Local Familiarity, Clear Planning and Guest Logistics

Because the Costa Blanca is personally familiar to me, I understand the region beyond the obvious venue search. I know how different the coast can feel from the inland areas, how important travel times can become and how much the guest experience depends on good logistics.

For destination weddings, this often means coordinating accommodation, transfers, arrival times, local suppliers and additional events around the wedding itself. Climate and timing also play an important role, particularly for outdoor celebrations.

My role is to bring these elements into one clear planning structure while making sure the wedding still feels connected to the place and to the way you want to celebrate.

If you are imagining a wedding on the Costa Blanca, I would love to hear what draws you to the region and what kind of experience you would like to create for your guests.
